Description
We purchased this hearse for use in a promotion for The Family Guy 100th episode. After an exhaustive search we found this endloader funeral coach garaged in Georgia. It is one of the best we have ever seen. It drove flawlessly from Georgia to New York to Chicago and back to New York. This classic was owned for most of its life by a funeral home in North Carolina. Originally sold on December 14th, 1973, we have many of the records since it was new including the original bill of sale and window sticker! Original MSRP was $15,452 (That’s over $65k in today’s money). The Cadillac now only has just over 48,700 original miles on the clock. Overall the car looks brilliant and is very original. Car is in very good mechanical and physical condition. Just tuned up, new battery and new tires less than one month ago. Recent starter. Repainted in the 90’s, the paint is still in very good shape. Frame in great condition. Rear compartment is exceptional. Curtains are beautiful and in good condition. Some fading, but not that noticeable. As with any vehicle this age there are a few areas for improvement: The engine belts squeak from time to time due to a cracked smog pump bracket. Can be repaired or removed. Car is old enough now that smog equipment is no longer checked and removal should give you a few more ponies under the hood and a couple more mpg. Carpet on driver’s side floor and door are wornout. Has some small rust spots in sheetmetal, fender skirts, and the bottom of the vertical taillights. Nothing that can’t be fixed quite easily. Chip in paint on driver’s side fender skirt. If you are looking for a great, original hearse that drives beautifully this is the one! You are more than welcome to come see it for yourself. Feel free to give us a call with questions. 212-864-4060. We will be happy to email you hi-res photos of the car. $3900.00/OBO VIN: 6Z90R4Q154490
